More information

Genelec showcased their new 4040A active 2-way loudspeaker which, thanks to a unique AutoStart function, is the first active loudspeaker for the professional installation market to be compliant with the new ErP (energy related-products) Directive which requires, starting in 2013, that stand-by power is under 0.5W when the equipment is not in use. The 4040A produces the same high level as Genelec’s studio products, while designed for applications such as large conference rooms, offering additional power with its large tweeter and powerful amplifier.

The just launched 1238CF “Compact and Flat” three-way DSP monitoring loudspeaker is already an Award Winner for the technical excellence of its drivers, multiple power amplifiers and digital signal processing (DSP) circuitry. The 1238CF is compatible with proprietary Genelec Loudspeaker Manager™ (GLM™) control software and can be combined with Genelec 8200/7200 Series products in the same control network.
