British firm gets all patriotic with a stylish HDMI matrix designed for high-end custom installation projects

HDanywhere Modular system

Incorporating an RAF/mod roundel into its brand, HDanywhere has launched Modular, a customisable HDMI matrix enabling integrators to create bespoke build HD distribution systems.

From its Great Malvern base in Worcestershire, HDanywhere Modular has been designed in an eye-catching royal blue finish with two flexible and scalable enclosure chassis options. The MOD44 allows for a maximum of four input modules and four output modules, while the MOD88 allows for a maximum of eight input and output modules.

Flexible input/output (I/O) module options allow integrators to specify which signal transmission technology is used by each output. Modules include HDMI, HDBaseT and HDBaseT-Lite, all of which can be mixed and matched in a single system, thereby eliminating expensive unused capacity and unnecessary functionality.

HDanywhere Modular’s ability to mix and match HD distribution technologies means that installers have pretty much complete control when specifying systems. For example, one TV location might require a full HDBaseT signal for HDMI, IR control, plus a LAN connection for SMART TV services. A second TV might simply require HDMI and IR control, making the HDBaseT-Lite module a perfect option. As well as flexibility, it promises better value as installers use only the modules they need for a specific zone. Additionally, should a project outgrow the existing system, all the modules can be simply ported across to a bigger chassis.

Heartbeat-OS is the Modular’s system management software. Designed specifically for integrators, any web browser can be used to access the Matrix Control Panel for advanced systems integration, feedback, monitoring and configuration settings.
