Remember the old TV ad where the owner of Remington Inc says he liked the shaver so much, he bought the company? Well, our involvement with the Xray Remote Extender had a similar beginning.

We were looking for the solution to a common problem. All our audio visual equipment was installed in a purpose-built cupboard. It looked neat and tidy but the infra red remote control supplied with the equipment didn’t work because they required line-of-sight.

After some searching, we discovered this great bit of equipment in the US which really excited us because it converted infra red waves to radio waves from within the battery compartment of the remote control. Line-of-sight was no longer necessary. After exhaustive testing in this part of the world, we decided to start a company dedicated to distributing the Xray remote throughout Australasia.
