Veteran Brit hi-fi brand Quad has announced a new bookshelf speaker with the 11L Classic, promising enhanced performance and better value for money.
Quad has released full details of its new Elite Series hi-fi series. The full line-up includes the Elite CDS CD player (pictured, £800), the Elite Pre preamp (£850), the Elite Stereo power amp (£700) and Elite Mono monobloc (£650) as well as the Elite FM tuner (£600).

This Years Bristol Show got off to a great start with a great attendance on the opening day.
Day Two at CES and we concentrate on the Specialty Audio section over at the Venetian and Sands convention centre. And the accent is very much on specialty; a plethora of ultra high-end hi-fi brands, demonstrating some deeply luxurious equipment. Of course, this wasn’t on the main halls, but the rooms were well appointed and acoustically fine. It was definitely a hi-fi specialist’s paradise.
AudioLab, Mission, Quad and Wharfedale are all prestigious "Very British" brands distributed by International Audio Group, IAG. Mission had on demonstration their soon to be available 5.1 M-Cube system, Wharfedale was showing their new NXT technology, AudioLab the 8000 line, and Quad their full catalogue.
The Sheraton Hotel hosted the second "Brussels Hi-Fi & Home Cinema Show". More than 170 brands were visible in a very pleasent, friendly atmosphere, which was no surprise for those who know Brussels.
