Accuphase A560 refined engineering (CES 2010)

January 18, 2010

Highlights

Pursuing their 38 year old philosophy of high quality construction and audiophile sound quality, Accuphase continue to generate outstanding products.

Concentrating on quality rather than quantity, the production is deliberately kept low meeting the needs of the audiophile. The modest production numbers represent the capabilities of the tight knit factory, avoiding unnecessary expansion, quality control issues and mass market appeal.

They have a conservative outlook to the models that are released with the front panel design generally staying the same. In this way old models produced 30 years ago will look similar to the new models of today offering a synergy to old and new customers alike.

Proud of their development, the new A560, pure class A amplifier is the successor to the A550 featuring a new technology design volume control and the internal changes represent a very different construction and design method.

Development of a new very high end pre-amp is also under way and they hope to bring it to market late this year.
