MTX Thunders through the water (CES 2010)

January 20, 2010

Highlights

Specialists in marine products, the exciting range of MTX Thunder Marine speakers, sub-woofers and amplifiers are more than ready for the testing conditions on the high seas.

The amplifier products are totally sealed with rubber boots and Plexi-glass covers over the 24 ct gold connections ensuring no water penetration. For safe keeping both the PCB’s and the pre-amp section are conformal coated with an anti-rust coating and tested for salt and fog moisture resistance.

The polypropylene cone speakers offer co-axial and separate configuration design whilst being entirely sealed against water ingress. Offered in both black and white finish the ABS construction offers a tough design finish that is totally waterproof.

Two subwoofers of either 10" or 12" give the punch and drive needed for the cockpit area. Being an infinite baffle design there is no need for an additional enclosure as when you mount the units under seats or in the hull, the boat performs the role of the enclosure.

One unique implementation is the Wakeboard Tower enclosures which are ideal for those water-borne extreme sports. A simple clip on design so that when you’re at the end of a rope skipping the surf you can still hear the vibes of the day
