Utilising their proprietary Nano Technology LG have taken many of the components out of the panel and placed them in the stand allowing the unit to be much slimmer than before.

It is a full LED panel having 1200 full LED lights giving 288 individual spots of local dimming to control the illumination of the panel giving the benefits of LED with the performance of Plasma.

A film is placed between the LED’s and the screen giving an even dispersal of brightness and accurate colour reproduction whilst the high contrast and 400hz sampling eliminate motion blur and ensure excellent picture quality.

Power consumption is typically low and the picture is typically high.
