Fancy home electronics brand Loewe has announced a new range of slimline MediaCenters, each including integrated CD and DVD playback as well as radio tuner with internet radio and music streaming.

The models are just 74mm and designed to be hung on a wall or placed on one of Loewe’s own stylish racks or stands. They can also be used to control an external Blu-ray player or accept an iPod/iPhone dock as well as stream audio around several zones using Loewe’s own Assist Media remote control.

Both the Mediacenters and the remote feature built-in screens which can display cover art as well as track info, and the Mediacenters can be hooked up directly to a TV using HDMI.

Each of the MediaCenters can be boosted with external hard disks or network storage such as a NAS server, and all have their own 160GB hard drive for onboard storage, except for the entry-level Individual Mediacenter.

The MediaCenter range is on sale now, with prices ranging from the Individual MediaCenter at £2,445 to the top-flight Reference Mediacenter at £3,575.
