Loewe Individual Slim goes LED

May 07, 2010 — Article

High-end TV manufacturer Loewe has announced an LED update for its well established Individual Slim range.

Each of the four screen sizes in the range (32in, 40in, 46in and 55in) will be available with LED backlighting for their LCD panels and there will be two different design options – the Compose, with its contrasting filter screen, and the Selection which features a high-gloss frame.

The Compose will have 400Hz with intelligent backlight control on the larger models (40in and 50in – 100Hz on the smaller ones) and while all models include a Freeview tuner as standard, there’s also the option to add Freeview HD, along with single or twin satellite HD on each.

There’s WLAN on board for access to content through the firm’s own media portal as well as streaming pics, music or videos from a networked PC. Some models also have a 250GB hard-disk recorder for backing up content as standard, but it can be added to all models on request.

In common with all Loewe TVs, none of the Individual Slim range could be classed as ‘budget’, with prices starting at £3,400. All will be available in aluminium black, aluminium silver or high gloss white with the 40in and 46in models going on sale at the end of May, the 55in following in July and the 32in in August.
