Acer has revealed its smallest pico projector yet, the C20.

Acer C20

Similar in size to a smart phone at 118 x 61×19mm it can throw out a display size of between 13-168cm (5-66in) and comes with its own internal speaker.

It has an impressively high contrast ratio for such a small device of 2000:1 and offers WVGA resolution with a native 16:9 format. It combines DLP technology with RGB LED lamp technology to enhance the picture quality. Acer says that LED lifetime lasts up to 20,000 hours, making lamp replacement ‘virtually unnecessary’ and the lack of breakable filaments or tubes increases durability. The C20’s EcoMode also helps to extend the lifespan of LED and reduce power consumption.

The C20 uses ColorSafe II, DLP technology in tandem with Acer’s own colour compensation technology to reduce the possibility of colour decay after prolonged use.

Films or other documents can be stored on microSD memory card and there’s a USB port for accepting memory sticks or connecting directly to a computer.

The Acer C20 pico projector is available now in pink, silver or blue finishes for £280.
