US-based Cables To Go has launched the TruLink 1-Port 60GHz WirelessHD kit in the UK.

The system offers to deliver full HD over a distance of up to ten metres, effectively allowing a single wire-free connection for an HD AV system.

The kit includes a transmitter, receiver, two HDMI cables, an infared remote and a mounting bracket. Promising true uncompressed audio and video, the device needs to be connected (by HDMI cable) to your source to begin transmitting 1080p content.

The company recommends that source and TV should face each other in the same room (it requires line of sight) for best results.
