CEDIA training at ISE 2011and the possibility to get CEDIA certified

As part of CEDIA’s biggest ever training programme for ISE (Integrated Systems Europe), they are offering visitors this year the opportunity at the RAI, Amsterdam, from 1-3 February 2011 to take the CEDIA EST 2 Certification examination in French, Spanish and English for the very first time.

In addition to this chance to “get certified”, the varied and exciting range of seminars at the show will give insight across multiple tracks and is sub-divided into a mixture of free 45 minute sessions and longer, to more intensive half day and full day paid training courses.

A total of five free courses, led by industry experts, will be on offer for all visitors, taking place in the ISE Theatre, located in Hall 10. Courses include:

  • ‘Technology and* Consumer Trends’
  • ‘Commodotisation – From Threat to Opportunity’
  • ‘HDMI and HD Transport Update’
  • ‘CEDIA Standards and Recommended Practices’
  • ‘The Intellect Connected Home Report’

Also available will be an extensive paid for seminar programme providing candidates with a more in-depth focus on subject areas including:

  • ‘IP For Integrators’,
  • ‘Designing Ethernet Networks’,
  • ‘Understanding and Eliminating Ground Loops’,
  • ‘Building a Functional Organisation’,
  • ‘Maintenance and aftercare’,
  • ‘Developing Profitable Business Processes’.

Alongside the multi-lingual EST 2 Certification examination, we will again be running our extremely popular, full day ‘Home Cinema Design Workshop’.

CEDIA representatives will also be on-stand 1M66 throughout the show to
answer questions and provide information about CEDIA’s work across Region 1(Europe, Russia, The Middle East, India and Africa), the benefits that membership brings and opportunities for participation
in the CEDIA Home Technology Event, held at ExCeL London (28-30 June 2011).
