Cable brand Monster has revealed the first of its new series of ‘ClarityHD’ products with the Clarity HD Precision Micro Bluetooth speaker.

Available in two colours, the silver iClarity model is designed to be used with Apple devices such as the iPhone, iPod or iPad, while the black version is intended for Blackberry devices, smartphones and laptops.

Otherwise, both models have the same specs, delivering wireless audio, via Bluetooth’s Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) using Monster’s own digital signal processing. There’s also the option to go wired with a cable connected via standard 3.5mm headphone jack.

Inside the box is 3.5cm full-range driver and passive radiator subwoofer, while a built-in noise-cancelling microphone allows for hands-free phone dialling as well as being used as a speaker for conference calls and voice/video chats via Skype.

The Monster Clarity HD Precision Micro Bluetooth speaker promises five hours of solid listening on a single charge and is available now for £90.
