Loewe has announced its first range of 3D TVs with the Individual Compose 3D series, which will include 40in, 46in and 55in models and use active-shutter 3D technology.

All the TVs in the new series feature full 1080p HD, LED-backlit LCD screens, with 400Hz panels, as well as 500GB DR+ hard disk storage and access to Loewe’s MediaPortal for streaming content via your home network.

Loewe’s own rechargeable active-shutter 3D glasses synchronise via an infrared transmitter within the TV and cost £130 per pair.

Loewe’s online MediaNet portal makes a range of internet content available, with different services available in different European territories.

The built-in hard drive allows you to record, pause and rewind live TV and you can also stream content, including 3D video, to other compatible Loewe screens.

The first to hit the shelves will be the 46in Loewe Individual 46 Compose 3D, available now in high gloss white, aluminium black or aluminium silver for £4,100. The Individual 40 Compose 3D (£3,500) and Individual 55 Compose 3D (£4,800) are expected to follow in the next few months.
