Sky and Panasonic have teamed up to broadcast rock band Elbow in 3D on Sunday 12 June.

The 3D cameras went behind the scenes to film the BRIT and Mercury Award winners in rehearsal and live during their recent Build a Rocket Boys! tour.

The 75-minute programme features interviews with the band discussing the making of their latest album of the same name and performances of tunes from it including Lippy Kids, Neat Little Rows, The Night Will Always Win and Open Arms.

The band also performed some of their classics, including One Day Like This, Puncture Repair and Grounds for Divorce.

The programme was shot using a Panasonic AG-3DA1 3D camera, with a BT-3DLH2250 3D broadcast monitor and 3D Viera TVs.

Elbow Live In 3D will be broadcast on Sky’s 3D channel on Sunday 12 June at 8pm. For fans without access to 3D TV, it will also be shown in 2D on Sky Atlantic at the same time.

And if you miss it and can’t record it, there’ll be repeats on Sky 3D and Sky Arts at 10pm on Monday, 20 June and 6pm on Tuesday 21 June.
