IFA 2011: Toshiba’s two new Blu-ray players

Toshiba has unveiled two new full HD Blu-ray players for 2011 with the BDX1250KE and BDX2250KE.

Both include support for BD-Live content and Dolby TrueHD, and come with USB ports for playback of MKV, AVCHD (H.264), MP3 and JPEG files.

Toshiba’s own Regza-Link (HDMI-CEC) technology let’s you control each of the players using the same remote as your Toshiba TV or compatible home cinema system.

The BDX2250KE includes DNLA capability, allowing you to connect it to a home network for streaming services such as YouTube, BBC iPlayer and Picasa.
