Monster has announced a new range of Harajuku Lovers earphones based on singer Gwen Stefani’s designer fashion range.

The noise-isolating earphones are named after one of Tokyo’s main fashion districts, and go big on the Japanese theme of ‘kawaii’ (or cuteness). Each features the Harajuku Lovers characters (Stefani’s backing singers/dancers) for the look, supported by Monster’s audio expertise for the sound.

The Super Kawaii Style (£50) is the entry level model, with earpieces styled for ‘G’ (Gwen Stefani’s character). They come with a choice of eartips for a perfect fit, as well as a G-shaped carrying case.

Then there’s the Harajuku Lovers Wicked Style (£60), which come with a choice of clip-on faces of each of the Harajuku Girls: G, Love, Angel, Music and Baby.

Top of the range is the Harajuku Lovers Space Age Style (£80), with a silver finished G head design, as well as four interchangeable coloured bodies.

They’re finished with rhinestones to create an ‘earring’ look, and come with a Harajuku Lovers cable keeper, all in a heart-shaped case.
