Bowers & Wilkins Wireless Music Systems launches with two systems to complement the Zeppelin Air.
West Sussex-based Bowers & Wilkins has unveiled two new AirPlay speakers, the A7 and A5, to combine with the award-winning Zeppelin Air.
The A7 and A5 Wireless Music Systems use Apple’s AirPlay technology to stream your music wirelessly around the home, from iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or a computer running iTunes. Control can be via your computer or the free Bowers & Wilkins Setup App, downloadable from the App Store.
Bowers & Wilkins regards the A7 to be the ultimate wireless music system, with audiophile-grade electronics including Digital to Analogue Converters capable of up-scaling audio to 24bit/96kHz.
The A7’s generous dimensions provide room for a 6in dedicated bass driver promising full and controlled bass, even in large rooms. The A5, on the other hand, is designed for versatility, easily fitting anywhere in the home, from living room to bedroom or kitchen.
The A7 is priced at £700, the A5 £400, with both available from October. The Zeppelin Air is available now for £500.
