ISE 2013: New season Dali loudspeakers

February 05, 2013 — Article

The Dali Kubik Free, Fazon Mikron, Phantom Kompas and Phantom Lektor are all launched at this year’s ISE.

Dali Kubik Free

Dali’s first batch of products for 2013 comprises a multi-connectivity active speaker, an ultra-compact and two additions to its in-wall/ceiling Phantom range.

The Danish company’s first ever full-range active speaker, the elegantly designed Dali Kubik Free, combines ‘old school’ hi-fi virtues with modern thinking. Dali has built it with the aim of delivering a’ true audio experience from an active speaker’.

The essence of the Dali Kubik Free is connectivity – the active speaker enables the user to enjoy music from a wide variety of sources and can be connected via Bluetooth, USB, optical or analogue inputs.

The ultra-compact member of the Dali Fazon family is the Dali Fazon Mikro. The smallest speaker in the DALI range, the Mikro features a die cast aluminium cabinet and promises superior audio performance. Despite its size, the Dali Fazon Mikro has been built to produce a sound that could be easily mistaken for that from far larger loudspeakers.

Dali’s Phantom range of in-wall/ceiling loudspeakers will soon be bolstered by the Phantom Kompas and Phantom Lektor – 5in and 8in models that will complement the existing 6in models, bringing the Phantom custom install range up to nine, from entry level through to high-end.

No word as yet on price or when we’ll get to see them in the UK.
