Leema Acoustic’s first CD Player, the Antila, has received another upgrade to replace its drive mechanism and servo. The new Antila IIS follows last year’s overhaul to create the Antila II.

This year’s Sound & Vision Show in Bristol was a considerably more upbeat affair than it was in 2009, when the recession seemed to cast a pall of gloom over the proceedings. In 2010 however, there was considerably more optimism, lots of new products and plenty of excitement.
British hi-fi manufacturer Leema Acoustics has upgraded its first CD Player, the two-year-old Antila, to create the not unsurprisingly named Antila II. The new player has a completely revamped circuit board with improved circuit layout and critically spaced components, which Leema claims delivers finer detail and clarity, as well as a lower noise floor.
This Years Bristol Show got off to a great start with a great attendance on the opening day.

Well known to CineNow readers and viewers Leema Acoustics have released an up grade to their Stream CD player. The Stream CD player was designed incorporating many of the technical innovations pioneered in Leema’s multi-award-winning Antila CD player.
The High End Society 2008 fair takes place at Munich’s M.O.C. A staggering 18,373 m² (60,278 ft²) of floor space will be filled with everything from vinyl albums to ultra high-end audio gear. Over 225 confirmed registrations have been received to date, with 24 countries represented. A total of 700 brands from Germany and abroad will be seen during this event.
