Launching their range of Connector TV’s Panasonic announced their VierraCast range.

An interactive series of products that allows connection via the web for access the many on line content providers such as music streaming and video on demand movies.

Built in, is compatibility with Skype, which is also causing a stir at the show with its ability to allow free calling anywhere over an IP address. Using the interactive GUI built in to the Panasonic screen and with the addition of a video camera feed you can use the TV for interactive calling to anybody who has registered with the Skype service.

The simple operation that utilises Picture in Picture technology letting you see your TV media whilst being on Skype just highlights the advancements in the interactive technology that is now available in our homes.
