Highlights

The Opus 6 series is a result of extended development from the successful Opus 5, having evaluated the 500 series and applied the feedback from installers and dealers the advantages and new features make the 600 series a worthy addition to the range.

MCU610 controller is a key component in the series with the ability to control 6 main zones with 11 external inputs and support for three tuners. The standard set up is for FM, AM, DAB/DAB+. Internet radio and UPnP support are available via optional client boards to be launched later in the year.

The VMX610 is a HD Video Matrix switcher supporting 4 HDMI and 4 analogue video inputs with the ability to splice audio onto the analogue sources to offer HDMI with 2 channel audio output. It can then send HDMI to any of six zones whilst sending a composite feed to the updated keypads for instant monitoring and cover art selection. It also has the ability to support two virtual zones such as additional screens that can be controlled by their Pronto and iPhone interfaces.

The touch pad screens are easy to use and offer full control over their Kaleidoscope system with simple touch screen operation. They can also work with Apple TV as well as other proprietary systems. There is also a larger 5.7” variant available soon.
