With the next generation of movie players now available, Kaleidescape launch the M300 and M500 models that use the new M class architecture and feature a new on screen user interface.

Built around the same style as the Kaleidescape that you love, the new design OSD incorporates a extra facilities such as new thumbnails for easy recognition of cover art and smooth navigation of all media content. Playback is instant as you play back content from the server whilst disc recognition is established with the original disc.

Blu-ray is supported on the models and the content is kept on the server, but to keep within the guidelines of the required HDCP the original disc must be available for authentication to enable playback.

Kaleidescape are working on a disc vault later in 2011 that will keep all your Blu-ray discs stored.
