Yamaha are the only company to sport a true 5.1 surround sound from a soundbar, firing direct beams of sound recreating a full surround system without speakers. Yamaha have several models in the range including the YSP 4100 Digital sound Projector suited for screens of around 42”.

New for IFA is the rather sleek YSP2200 that consists of two parts, one super slim unit to sit under the monitor and a sub-woofer. Simply plug in your supplied microphone and the Yamaha intellibeam technology will automatically set the unit up for you by measuring your room environment and adjusting the internal settings.

It sports HDMI inputs and remote control allowing armchair comfort and AV receiver performance without the speakers.
