February 06, 2012

Control4 is a automation solutions company for both residential and commercial applications. On display at ISE were a series of new products, including a range of high-performance controllers.

Get highlights of many of the features of the small, sleek HC-250, including both HDMI as well as analog outputs. Installers will enjoy its ability to be powered over Ethernet with PoE capability providing power and network connectivity over a single CAT5/CAT6 cable. In addition, the HC-250 offers the possibility to have a contact and relay to become the “brain” of a single-room automation solution. Also note a USB port that enables connection to external storage for easy access to music content.

See the brand new HC-800 controller, with 4 audio outputs: 1 HDMI, 2 analog and 1 digital optical; as well as 1 analog audio input that enables the possibility to have a digital music experience in up to 4 zones without a secondary media player. The HC-800 incorporates the latest generation of ZigBee protocol to deliver a new level of speed and system responsiveness as well as being more user-friendly, so it is no longer necessary to point the remote directly to the screen!

Have a quick demo of the easy-to-use, intuitive user interface with much improved speed and response during navigation.
