June 15, 2010 — Article

Optoma’s HD67 HD ready projector aims to bring up-to-the-minute HD projector technology to a new low price point.

Following the popular HD65, the HD67 now includes 1080p 24 frame support which allows films to be shown in the original 24FPS format in which they were first shot.

The budget-priced HD67 also features some impressively high numbers amidst its general spec, including 1800 ANSI Lumens and a 400:1 ANSI contrast ratio.

There’s also a full range of connections including HDMI v1.3, composite, S-video, component, PC and Scart. Optoma also claims it’s bright enough to be used in ambient light conditions for home cinema viewing or gaming.

The Optoma HD67 goes on sale this month with a five-year guarantee on image and colour quality for £599.
