Mains power expert ISOL-8 has unveiled its latest power conditioner developed especially for home cinema systems, the PowerLine 1080.

The company claims its Transmodal filter technology provides “pure, clean power so that AV system performs at their very best” and includes three connections for audio/video components with one containing filters specifically optimised for display screens, and two with audio/video filters optimised for source components such as Blu-ray and DVD players.

A fourth outlet uses a filtered high current Direct Connection Parallel Filter for amplifiers and receivers to “deliver full dynamics without limitation”.

The Powerline 1080 uses silver-plated copper wiring with PTFE insulation throughout and the heavy-duty construction includes an anodised 6mm thick aluminium top plate designed to be non magnetic and non resonant. Input is by IEC connector and each power outlet has a protective hinged cover.
