Audio accessories specialist i-Mego has announced two new pairs of headphones, due to launch at the IFA show in Berlin in September.
The first is a premium version of the company’s top-of-the-range Retro model which retains its predecessor’s old-school microphone look but with beefed-up sound quality, including “an even more rousing and full-bodied bass, along with clear and detailed midrange and treble”. It will be available in time for Xmas in red/black, brown or white and will come with a new luxury leather and velvet headband in special gift-packaging.
At the other extreme, the Earth Series is all about reducing packaging, and uses recycled paper and rPET (recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate), while the actual headphones are made from eco-friendly materials and feature distinctive ‘globe’ styling.
Both models should be available in September but there’s no word yet on prices.
