Epson has launched its first 3D projectors with five new models, including wireless HD versions.

They use active-shutter glasses and Epson claims they’re the brightest 3D projectors on the market.

All five use Epson’s own 3LCD technology, support full HD resolution and come with two HDMI inputs.

Top of the heap are the flagship EH-TW9000 and its wireless HD cousin, the EH-TW9000W.

Epson says they have a 200,000:1 contrast ratio, 2400 lumens brightness and 2.1x optical zoom lens. Each comes with two pairs of 3D glasses.

Next down the list are the EH-TW6000 and wireless EH-TW6000W, with 40,000:1 contrast, 2200 lumens and 1.6x optical zoom. They have an integrated set of stereo speakers but come only one pair of 3D glasses each.

The entry-level Epson 3D projector is the EH-TW5900 which doesn’t come with any glasses but offers 20,000:1 contrast ratio and 2000 lumens brightness.

No prices yet, but the EH-TW5900, EH-TW6000 and EH-TW6000W should all be with us in October, with the EH-TW9000 and EH-TW9000W following in November.
