Sony showcases numerous new prototypes including OLED technology (CES 2007)

Highlights

The Sony stand was the largest at the CES 2007 with over 10,000 sq feet of equipment, new products and demonstrations. The real highlight for us was the OLED 1080p screens that are paper thin, well almost! In addition, here you will see their SXRD 1080p rear projector HDTVs, the Bravia family including the 70" LCD TV, the BDP-S1 Blu-ray player, the PS3 with huge crowds, the Vaio WA wireless Digital Music Streamer, theSony HDRX-710 camcorder, and the Portable e-Book Reader. Also on demonstration were several prototypes which show that HD has many new things in store with 55" Laser light engine screen, based on the SXRD panel technology, and a 82" LCD TV with motion flow technology.
