February 08, 2011 — Article

Optoma has been revealing details of its line-up for the Bristol Show from 25th February, including a demonstration of its 3D-ready Optoma HD67N projector and 3D-XL projector adapter.

Optoma HD67N, 3D-XL and 3D glasses

The Optoma 3D-XL projector adaptor connects a 3D source and a DLP 3D-XL Ready projector to deliver big-screen 3D images. It supports frame packing (3D Blu-ray) and side-by-side (SKY 3D) transmissions and comes with 2x HDMI 1.4a ports allowing connection to both 3D sources. It also comes with Optoma’s latest DLP link active shutter 3D Glasses.

The Optoma HD67N HD DLP projector works with the Optoma 3D-XL and includes full support for NVIDIA 3D Vision. It combines bright 2000 ANSI Lumens with well-balanced colour rendition and promises strong light and shade detail.

The ThemeScene HD87 Full HD DLP projector is the company’s latest reference machine, replacing the HD86. The new flagship Full HD projector integrates full lens shift, a choice of high grade lenses and the ‘latest processing technologies’.

The Optoma HD67N projector is available now from selected UK retailers and online stores, priced at £500. The 3D-XL will be available to buy from the end of February for £250.

The ThemeScene HD87 projector is available now at these prices:
• HD87 with standard lens – £2,799
• HD87 with long throw lens – £2,999
• HD87 with short throw lens – £3,399
